KES has begun work with Cane Land Distilling Company, one of the few estate distilling companies in the US. “Estate” means the producer grows their own feedstock. Just as an “estate winery” grows their own grapes, Cane Land is an operation of Alma Plantation in Plaquemine. The distilling operations are across the river in Baton Rouge. Their rums and vodka all comes from their own sugar. KES will be helping them re-design their storage areas, process systems, and otherwise be in general support to their operations.
KES has always supported Louisiana companies, ranging from fabricators to ship yards to petrochemical facilities. Supporting Louisiana distillers is a bit more special, as it ties to our history and our agricultural roots. KES offers discounts to all Louisiana distilling companies.
