Alexis San Miguel joins the KES team and helps gather data for a NOLA VAMC project.
COVID_19 protocols make the ASME International Mechanical Engineering Conference and Exposition purely virtual, but does not stop KES from exhibiting their continued research regarding marine and health care issues.
KES is leading the development of a new “design by analysis” method for glassy polymers. The initial focus is for windows in pressure vessels for human occupancy (PVHOs) including submersibles, saturation diving, and medical hyperbaric treatment systems. However, a system that can provide a robust design for a life-critical structure can be readily adapted to other applications.
