Kemper Engineering Service recently completed another job with their long-time client, Enviro-Tech Systems (ETS) of Covington, Louisiana.  Enviro-Tech is one of the leading companies dealing with industrial waste water challenges, ranging from oil/water separation to repairs to novel one-off solutions.  ETS was established in 1997 to provide “service after the sale” for oilfield handing of waste fluids. They began providing field service for major oil companies in the Gulf of Mexico and expanded in the international market within a few short years, with offices in California, Mexico, and India.  ETS has developed repair procedures along with design changes to existing manufacturer’s equipment.

KES began our relationship with ETS doing ASME calculations for a large oil/water separator system.  We later worked on equipment for ETS in Tabasco, Mexico where we addressed service loads, seismic loads, and lifting considerations.  Most recently we assisted with a location near New Orleans where an older system was being replaced by a more efficient ETS system.  Our role was to evaluate the support steel, which is being kept in place from the old system, is sufficient for the increases in wind speed found as ASCE-07 (2022).  We are proud to lend a hand to another Louisiana firm working in the international market.
