Last month Krista and Bart were once again serving on the Industry Panel for Louisiana State University’s Senior Capstone Design course. This is an interdisciplinary course hosted by the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department where MEs, EEs, and BEs take on real world projects. For Mechanical Engineers, this is a mandatory course for graduation. The Fall semester is the design portion. The Spring semester is the build portion. Bart and Krista are just two of the 25 people from multiple industries that spent at least part of the week at LSU evaluating presentations and prototypes.
This week KES continues their support for ASME Codes and Standards during the Pressure Vessel for Human Occupancy meeting in Montreal, Canada. PVHOs include submersibles, diving bells, saturation and decompression chambers, medical chambers, and “dry diving” tunneling. Volunteering continues to be a key way we give back locally and on the international stage.
