We are excited to announce Linda Cross, EI has joined the Kemper team.  We worked with Linda when she was with her LSU Capstone Engineering team.  Bart had joined her and Amy in Boston as they competed in the national ASME 2014 Undergraduate Design Competition for Rehabilitation and Assistive Devices, taking 3rd place after presenting and demonstrating their design.  Their project was the first Capstone project to receive Human Testing Protocols permissions, which was driven by Linda as the team’s only Biological Engineer.  Linda graduated in 2014 in the LSU Honors program.  She has three years in medical research.  She co-authored journal articles “Biodistribution of PLGA and PLGA/chitosan Nanoparticles after Repeat-dose Oral Delivery in F344 Rats for 7 Days” (Therapeutic Deliver) and “Design of Semi-autonomous Boat for Measurements of Coastal Sedimentation and Erosion” (Sediment Dynamics from the Summit to the Sea).  She’s bringing her expertise in biomechanics, ergonomics, human factors, and biomedical areas along with her proven abilities in classic engineering design and analysis.
